In addition to the staple food, birds must be constantly supplied with grit due to certain peculiarities of their digestive system. Organic and inorganic ingredients help grind hard seeds in birds' muscular stomachs and serve as an additional source of calcium, phosphorus, sodium and other minerals.

Coquina is the crushed sea shell and is an important source of calcium, phosphorus, sodium and other minerals. Coquina dissolves in the acidic environment of the stomach; the mineral salts obtained can be easily absorbed into the bird's body. Coquina is especially needed during the nesting period for building strong eggshells and for maintaining healthy bones and beaks in chicks and adult birds.

Limestone is obtained by grinding the mineral calcite and then drying it. Limestone is rich in substances that support water-salt balance and lead to better bone tissue growth.

Redstone ensures proper functioning of the digestive tract in birds. Regular consumption of redstone leads to firmer droppings.

Ground Cambrian clay is necessary for the removal of toxins, which can accumulate in the bird's body. In addition, clay contains minerals, organic matter, iron oxides and other useful nutrients.

Shredded cedar nut shells contain a variety of micro and macronutrients. In addition, the shell has adsorbent, astringent, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Feeding instructions

• The mixture should be poured into a separate feeder or spread on the bottom of the birdcage.
• It is recommended to change the mixture regularly, at least once a week.
